So as a final answer of mine I tell you this: Martial arts were created to cover the need of self defence and military hand to hand combat. Fighting sports were created to entertain people. Yes you can use boxing for self defense (and quite effectively in many cases) but overall, martial arts just have so many more techniques that a boxer just isn't trained to defend to. Bare knuckle boxing like Musangwe is a martial art. Regular boxing is just a sport. Ofcourse you can use it for self defense but that doesn't classify it as MA. First and foremost he was a master martial artist. The acting comes second. Ali trained in a SPORT while Lee trained in a MARTIAL ART. The difference being that for Lee it would be legitimate to kick his opponent in the groin or head butt him or hit his eyes, his throat etc etc Sports have all these rules and constrictions while MAs potential is shown only in kill or be killed situations. - @Monday, April 1, 2013 2:49 AM

Well it is true that only when you slow down the fight scenes can you realise how many and what kind of techniques he is using. In normal speed you really can't get it. He is really fast.
