The newer Land Before Times films are fun, but I miss the more prehistoric and treacherous atmosphere that the early films owned. The hellish landscapes and ferocious predators made me sit on the edge of my seat.They've made The Land Before Time more child friendly (as though they needed anymore coddling) and the colors and the surroundings are far brighter and joyful. I watched the movie and No offense guys but I don't like it, I miss Mr. Three horn's old voice actor (tho I know he's dead) and I especially don't like how they made it sound like someones banging a big drum whenever the big dinos walk, it's just not like the old one, how it sounded like a real dinosaur's walking. So I watched it. It wasn't horrible but more like 'meh'. :| I think it shows that they're running out of ideas. This movie's execution felt a little empty, as if almost nothing happened or something. Also, 99% of the songs were weak even for kids' songs when it comes to their topics and lyrics. I'm sure this will entertain very little kids but I think for older kids and especially adult fans of this series the parts through 1 to 5 and around that number have much more substance and much stronger storyline and therefore much more interesting to watch. :) - @Friday, February 17, 2017 1:10 PM

What, they're still making these? Wow. I stopped following this series since movie five, in my opinion the movie franchise is good up until that point and after that from what I've seen it's been a bit of an hit-or-miss. But surprisingly seeing to that this is already number 14, this one doesn't _seem_ bad judging by this trailer. And by that one clip I just saw. Maybe I'll give this one a chance since it happens to be on my country's Netflix right now. Also, I'm glad to see they're still making these in 2D _and_ the animation/drawing is still the same lovely quality as it was in the first sequel. :) I'm glad this franchise seems to still be treated with more or less respect and passion from the creators. Because the first film will always have a special place in my heart as it was the first film I ever saw in theatres and I was quite a big fan of this series when I was a kid. - @Wednesday, February 15, 2017 9:18 PM
