Moments after parachuting from Flight 777, former Marine Chad Turner (Craig Scheffer) and flight attendant Dao (Sonia Couling) find themselves descending into a world of madness. The Tribulation has begun. Panic and chaos plague the streets, and cities are on fire. But they have even greater problems. They're being hunted by a team of mercenaries lead by Joseph Pike (Gary Daniels) and funded by the power-hungry, Phillip Turk (Ivan Kamaras) with orders to extract the biometric microchip living in Chad Turner's body and prepare it for the masses. The only hope to protect the microchip and prevent it from falling into the hands of evil is for Chad to summon all his elite skills in battle to outrun and outlast the forces against him -- and call on a higher power to provide the necessary strength to prevail.

I am watching this movie right now and can't believe the Christian crap that it tries to sell. In the first place, people who are waiting for a "Rapture" just may be in for a great disappointment because they did nothing to be ready for the evil that is to come. They were told they didn't have to get ready. Well......... Then when the girl does read the Scriptures, she prays to "God". Come on...how lame is that? Salvations happens only ONE way, and that is when someone confesses their sin before a specific member of the Trinity and speaks to them in first person, and His name is not "Jesus". The "mark of the beast" that is so commonly written as 666 is an encoded word that meant Nero. John was warning about Rome. Period. That's the end of the mark of the beast. In Greek, there were not separate characters for numbers and letters, so 666 were actually letter characters also. When scrambled with all the possibilities they can come up with, most of them are gibberish except that one spells "neron." It is phonetically spelled because the people it was written to and the man it was written by did not speak in a way that ended with a hard "O" sound. Hence, Neron, because that is the suffix used in speech. It's not credit cards or tattoos or anything. The vast majority of revelation was about Rome. Christians. Quite a funny movie, clearly aimed at the believer and full of propaganda for the stupid (tech is evil, anyone with a computer supports Satan, etc etc) all talk is for people with no technical know-how so as a programmer it kinda made me cringe a few times. If you can get passed all of that its OK, Eric Roberts is in it so he makes it watchable despite all the other crappy actors. The rapture part is the best, it starts in the 1st movie which you should really watch 1st but its the usual support of people who can't hack the real world so they create this fantasy where they're saved and everyone else is left to suffer in a world where everything is on fire for some reason, apparently all the extinguishers & water got sent to heaven too. Budget and if you can laugh off most of the propaganda its quite good, if you're a militant atheist Richard Dawkins type I wouldn't watch it though, it would probably just make you angry. Could have used some better actors really, but guessing by the script and the distinct lack of any tech research or rationality they were probably the best they could get. The lead bad guy excluded from that though, I thought he was quite good, him and Eric Roberts were clearly trying to keep the movie afloat and their performance really does bring to light the crappyness of the others. - @Wednesday, September 3, 2014 10:23 PM

There are other things the military are being primed for, that I personally know about that is leading to the events.
